Advert for Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer.
Job Title: Clerk to the Council and Responsible Financial Officer.
Council Name: COEDPOETH Community Council.
Salary: £28,672-£32,234 (Pro rata and based on experience and qualifications relevant to the post)
Hours of work: 28 hours per week during the probationary first 6 months and thereafter reviewed in line with the needs of the Council to manage its responsibilities.
About the post:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and committed individual to work with the Council, which is determined to forge a new relationship with its electorate during these challenging times. The Council has committed itself to making a success of several projects to enhance and develop further the facilities available to local residents and to build the greater community of Coedpoeth. The successful candidate will need to be able to develop relationships with the voluntary sector, grant-funding bodies and the higher tiers of local government and the Welsh government. The successful candidate will ideally have a wide experience of local government and a relevant professional qualification (e.g. CiCLA) or be willing to work towards one. Excellent oral and written skills in both Welsh and English are desired.
