Memorial Park

Playable Places, a group made up of residents, community councillors, county councillors and the Wrexham play development team, met for many months in order to renovate and improve the Memorial Park. Finally, after many meetings, five companies were approached to tender for the job. One company's design was chosen and the application for a grant submitted.

The park was successfully completed and re-opened in June 2016.

Everyone is welcome to get involved with this park and the development of future parks in Coedpoeth.

Please contact the clerk for details.

Memorial Website

Paid for within the grant for the War Memorial Gates' Renovation, by Heritage Lottery Fund and CADW, the Coedpoeth War Memorial has its own website. Click the link below to enter the site.
Coedpoeth War Memorial Website
Here, you can add details of your ancestor, if his name is on the Memorial. Others can then search for details of the Coedpoeth men who lost their lives in the wars. A fitting tribute for the sacrifice they made.

The Old Carnegie Library now has a laptop, available for the public to use to access this website. Please pay us a visit either to research names on the Coedpoeth Memorial or to add detail to the website.
